ABOUT Steve
Hi, I’m Steve.
What do I do?

Coaching
I’m an accredited Master Coach, and I’ve been coaching since 2012. In that time, I’ve worked with a whole range of people; from 8-year-olds finding school a challenge, right through to Chief Executives of large organisations.
I have significant experience with neurodivergent people and have been offering coaching within an adult autism and ADHD service since 2022.
If you’re feeling stuck or lost, finding overwhelm hard to manage, or having difficulty starting (or finishing) tasks, coaching might be really helpful for you.
Coaching can be a powerful tool when you’re looking for purpose, whether that’s short-term or longer-term.
A session also gives you a non-judgemental space to explore you. How many times have you sat with someone and felt truly listened to? Can you think of a time when someone had no agenda other than to be interested in you?
That’s what a coaching session can offer.

Training
I’ve been delivering training for over 20 years across a wide range of settings and sectors.
More recently, I’ve developed and delivered “Empowering neurodivergent people to access the outdoors” to organisations including The Wildlife Trust, Yorkshire Dales National Park (Engagement Team), North York Moors National Park, and Natural England, to name a few.
Alongside this, I design and deliver a variety of training programmes tailored to the needs of teams and organisations. This includes building confidence in working with neurodivergent people, creating inclusive environments, and developing practical, strengths-based approaches.
I also offer training in coaching skills - supporting individuals and teams to have better conversations, think more clearly, and build their own confidence in supporting others.
The focus across all my training is simple: helping people feel more aware, more confident, and better equipped in their approach.
Always holding the person’s needs at the heart of the training.

Getting Outside
I’m a big believer in the healing power of being out in the countryside and the hills.
I’m a qualified Mountain Leader and have been leading individuals and groups into wild spaces on wellbeing walks for the last 10 years.
If you’re interested in a neurodivergent-friendly wellbeing walk, wild camp, or expedition, feel free to get in touch.
I’ll also be adding some Wild Wellbeing Weekend dates on here soon.

Why Steve
Why pick me as your coach?
Firstly - you don’t have to. If you’re curious about coaching, or think it might be something that could benefit you, feel free to get in touch. We can have a free half-hour chat to see if I’m the right fit for you. If not, no worries at all.
What I bring as a coach
I’ve got a lot of experience - over 5,000 hours of coaching people in all sorts of situations.
When it comes to ADHD and autism coaching, I bring lived experience too. I’m ADHD myself and live in a properly neurospicy family. I understand both the day-to-day challenges and the longer-term challenges that can come up for neurodivergent folk.
How I work
I offer:
-
Silence when you need it
-
Patience, always
-
Space to think and process freely
You’ll be in a non-judgemental space where you can be yourself. I’ll listen properly, and I’ll challenge you when it’s helpful.
Most important of all - you are the most important person in the room.
